A common request on fine or thin hair is more presence — not a dramatic length jump. That is a different plan than an inches-first request. We can stay close to the length you already wear and add density so the hair reads fuller in a ponytail, at the part, and in daylight.

Extra inches are optional. They are not required for a volume-first plan. If you do want both fullness and length, we say so after photos, instead of assuming every guest wants a longer perimeter.

The same amount of hair can feel quiet or heavy depending on where it sits. Placement and density matter more than a package name. Too much weight in one zone, or a weft that sits like a shelf, is what makes a set look obvious on a finer starting point.

We plan amount and placement from daylight photos, then confirm in person. If the look you want needs more hair than your starting hair can carry, we shrink the plan or decline. That is a planning call, not a medical claim, and it is not a scare line — it is how we keep the finish believable.

Strand-by-strand keratin-bond placement can be a fit when individual pieces can sit inside your own density and still move. It is a consideration, not a default for every fine or thin head. Photos decide whether that construction is open.

Published starting packages are Natural Volume, Double, and Triple. Those names describe how much hair is planned at the 20" starting quote. They are options, not a prescription for fine or thin hair. A volume-only goal can still land on Natural Volume or Double after photos. A length-plus-density goal can still need Triple. None of that is assigned from this page alone.

Send 2–4 daylight photos: front, side, back, and a close view of the root and part. A stylist replies with whether extensions look appropriate, a method direction, density thinking, and an honest range. That is the photo consultation — not a live video call and not a pressure close.

If the photos are not enough, we ask for one more angle or we wait for the in-person check. You do not pay a deposit to hear “not yet” or “not this plan.”

The visit is a private appointment, not a walk-in retail floor. We look at the starting hair in person, confirm placement and amount, and finish the blend before you leave. Studios are in Midtown, Brooklyn, and Astoria — you pick the door when you book.
