Wake up without a matted root

This URL is the night-and-heat guide. Think soft containment — not tight styles that pull on natural hair all night. Wash steps live on wash and brush.

  • Braid or silk wrap — one loose braid or low silk wrap beats a high ponytail.
  • Pillowcase — silk or satin reduces friction on both natural hair and extensions.
  • Never sleep soaking wet — wet bonds + friction = tangles at the root.
  • Heat tools — fine on lengths with protectant; keep plates and wands off beads, tips, and tape lines.
  • Workouts — secure hair so it does not whip. Rinse sweat from the scalp; dry the attachment area after.

Feel a sharp pull, a bond sitting proud, or sudden slip? Message the studio the same day — early adjustments protect your natural hair. If the set already looks or feels wrong, that is Extension Rescue, not a sleep-habit question.
